Properties
This product is a strong reducing agent and it has very high stereoselectivity. Flash point :-17℃.
Usage
This product is a high stereoselective reducing agent. It has been used for the diastereoselective reduction of the ketones to give the alcohol. It can be also used for selective 1,4- addition of the enones to provide ketones or alcohols. It is used for selective reduction of the conjugated double bonds of cyclic acrylonitrile derivatives and iodide. It was also found to be an efficient reagent for the mesomerize reaction of diesters, dehalogenation of monocyclic Pyrimidine, rearrangement of 5-trimethylsilyl Thebaine, and deprotection of N-carbomethoxy-substituted opioids to N-noropioids. At low temperatures, it can effectively reduce conjugated carbonyl compounds.
